17 Human Trafficking Victims Rescued in Albuquerque, NM

In 2018, local police began investigating a possible drug operation at the Best Choice Inn in Albuquerque, NM. Over the course of the nearly year-long investigation, it became evident that an even darker operation was underway: Human Trafficking.

DeliverFund was brought in as a partner to the local and federal agencies working on the case, providing analytical support over several months. DeliverFund analysts, using DeliverFund’s unique software, helped provide intelligence to track the suspects. Several of the officers that participated in the raid were graduates of DeliverFund’s training course.

Because of YOU this operation was possible!  Because of you the motel was raided, 3 federal human trafficking arrests were made, 3 other state warrants were issued, 2 bank accounts were seized and 17 young women were rescued from commercial sexual exploitation!  YOU made all this happen by supporting DeliverFund.

Investigators also found massive amounts of heroin, meth, cocaine, and pills scattered among the motel rooms. A bank account was discovered with nearly $250,000… all accrued in a matter of 6 months.

The information that came out about the young women after the raid was heartbreaking. They had been forced to pay $200-$300 per night at the Best Choice Inn where they lived. If they couldn’t pay, they would be locked out of their rooms, and had to sell their bodies to earn the money to simply have a place to sleep.

But because of you, because of your compassion, because of your generosity, because of your desire for justice, these young women are safe. They’re alive.

Thank you. We couldn’t do it without you.
